End Of Indoor Season Handicap Shoot 2009

Sunday 29th March was the day that we held our end of season Handicap shoot. Shooting was very competitive when using the handicap tables to even out the archer’s performances. Nicky was on a high after scoring her first ever three gold end, and she is looking forward to shooting outdoors, so she can go for her first six gold end.

Certificates, and trophies where handed out for achievements gained throughout the indoor season, then it came to the most important award of the shoot, the ‘Chairman’s Handicap Trophy’. Naomi couldn’t believe what she was hearing as her name was called to come to the front by Eric our records officer. Chairman, George Arnold presented Naomi with her well-deserved Trophy. Well done Naomi, you have done extremely well considering that you have been an archer for such a short time. We have no doubt that you will make an impression in the archery world over the next few years, keep it up!

Presentations completed, it was back to the canteen for light refreshments, and a cup of tea, (hard work these competitions).
