Bebington 2008

17th & 18th May. The weekend was very rewarding for the Archers of High Elm.

Saturday Saw Jack Grogan winning the Chester Junior Nationals shoot and setting another new County Record.

The Westerns at Bebington provided another two County Records. Jack Grogan Continued his breaking of County Records by winning with his recurve Bow, and setting a new record. He now holds the County records in both the Recurve & Compound categories for a Junior Western.

Successful Man & Wife team Tracey & Ian Scott, well known in the Clout circles (excuse the pun), proved that they could use their Longbows just as effectively at target shooting. Tracey won the Ladies Longbow Trophy, and Husband Ian gained yet another County record. Not bad considering it was their first attempt at a Western round!

Ian also made a lasting impression by splitting an arrow of one of his opponents. That makes it about six arrows he has split in as many months!
